aimeekittySo my friends and I (HCC) won Best in Show AND Best Anime at World Con with our Trinity Blood costumes! O_O!! Seriously awesome. hopefully we'll have pictures soon to show. one of the things we won was a beautiful Japanese wedding kimono (uchikake)! It's orange with phoenix on it! O_O...

and what did we do next? we went to disneyland! whee! It was fun... there was a lovely breeze, and I loooove char, joshua, judy and aj. We really had a nice weekend... but then someone stole my celphone. :...( and then, like some cruel joke, I ran out of gas on the way home, and since I didn't have my celphone, I couldnt call anyone to help me. I had to walk 8 blocks to the closest gas station and then back to my car in the middle of downtown LA (which is a bit scary...) *_* at least it wasn't dark yet.
However, on to brighter things...! Anyone have some good links for more visual information about women pirates? :) I want to do a pirate costume sometime, maybe for halloween and I need some good picture inspiration. So shoot any male or female pirate links my way!
