are there any online sites that list the different types of kanzashi with PICTURES? This Wiki entry lists the different types, but no accompanying photos... and I want to make sure I'm calling the right thing the right thing!

I did find this calendar of kanzashi, but I'd like to know more.

I'd also like to know more about seasonal kimono wearing, and just in general the meanings assigned to different kimono patterns and ways of WEARING them.

there are a lot of kimono/etc books on ehay that pop up

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4576233223&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

I have this one of my "permament watch list" because it looks so neat, but of course it isnt in english....but the pictures just look so nice and its all historical!

The auction notes: "This book is inspired by a unique festival in Kyoto where participating women don the most splendid kimonos recreated from historic records, and also wear ornate hair styles corresponding to the same periods."

so perhaps researching this festival will yield some historical/kimono information since obviously SOMEONE had to research all that for there to BE a festival, right?
