hrm... not too impressed so far. the artists original drawings are just SO friggin masterful with the characterizations,... I'd have to see longer clips to see whether those actors can pull it off or not. but so far, it looks kinda "eh" to me.
I think the success will hinge a lot on the actor's job of portraying L - I'm excited to see it to see if it lives up to our standards, but I do agree with you that the trailer shows awfully short clips. (But how about the Shinigami there at the end? :O )
HOHOHO L IS EVERYONE'S FAVORITE. How far are you in the manga anyway? After this one point most people stopped reading it, cos... it sucks now =\ I know I sure stopped, I just think the story should have ended there. Talk about disappointment.
I like raito though, just because it was so cool to have a story from the evil villain's POV lol. And he makes the awesomest evilfaces!!
Movie L looks SO CUTE THOUGH OMFG. But I'm not that excited about the movie either, the shinigami are CG and I think costumes would have been better :PPPP
I'm to whatever is currently out in the english manga (not the fan-translation) Yeah I heard it gets bad after a while, but it's really good right now! so I'll ride it till it gets really bad I guess! (plus the art...!!)
