yesterday, for apparently no reason, most of the right side of my back became an unbearable ball of pain. (ie, I didn't fall, or hit something, or try to pick up something heavy.... but I know for sure this is from working too much, because it's my right side.)

so now, like an old woman I have these weird smelly patches on my back, and I'm trying not to move my head. If I don't move at all, it doesnt hurt, but driving a car, walking, or sitting ( AND DRAWING) hurts. friggin a. I have so much work to do. I don't have time for this!

SO! I will let you laugh at my pain!

Sounds like you may have slept in a bad position?

I do that all the time...my back's weird from my car accidents and all it takes is 1 bad night of sleep and I'll be in pain for days.

Hope you feel better soon, cause carrying dollies around is hard work!

Aw! I don't wanna laugh, I wanna give you a hug for feeling like that! Have you heard of those therma-cure (I think that's what they're called) patches? You can put them on your back and they heat up and make the pain go away. They're awesome, I tried it for cramps. And Icy Hot works too.

Argh...that sounds like a muscle spasm. I get those when I'm too stressed out. Taking two Aleve seems to help me okay. If you don't have that handy you can try Midol or similar because it has a muscle relaxant as an ingredient. If it's a muscle spasm that should take the edge off at least.

If you can convince a big warm fluffy black kitty to flop on the afflicted area all the better! ^o^

hee! The bottom part of your picture looks like me in the evenings, playing with the furballs. Except I would probably be smiling :) They do jump up on you, especially on your back. We call it "bunny jungle gym" time. It actually kind of helps with back pain ^_^;

Very cute :D But I hope you feel better soon !

Maybe try using a warm heating pad? I sometimes get back pain like that and the heat seems to help a lot.
I hope you feel better soon.
