color gradient wigs, ichigo and random bunnies

WIGS:::: Sooooo, me likes me some color gradient wigs. (for PEOPLE, not dolls)

Does anyone know where I could get a long hime style, or long wig with bangs.... that is purple on top and white on the bottom? (like the tips are white?) or blue and fades to white, etc, etc...? I can cut the bangs into it if I have to, but it HAS to be long and straight. I guess if I have to, I can just add white extensions, but I'd rather the wig come kinda close to how I want it, you know?
Is it possible to bleach a wig? (or to successfully dye a wig? I keep hearing horror stories of bad dye jobs...)

TSHIRT MAKING::: Does anyone know anything a bout tshirt places like this: http://www.fishead.net/index.htm ? Cafepress, I just don't think the quality is good enough. Or should I just visit some store locally and ask them about theirs? I want a high quality, one, or two color shirt that the design is durable and won't look like crap on.

Depending on the design, I can make a two colored shirt fairly easily (I'm a printmaking major.) It costs less to make a bunch of shirts over one, though.

what I wanted to try to do was a few things:

- like I said, have something really durable
- be able to do it on a babydoll style tshirt
- just be able to make random designs for sale every once in a while.

I mean personally, I'd love to have a closet full of puking bunny shirts. *L*. :P I know it costs less to have a bunch, so probably what I'd do, is figure out what a good number is, keep a few for myself and offer the rest for sale on ebay and my site for a relatively cheap price.

I wanted to make DoA tshirts for the opening and stuff.

Well...I can screen with fabric ink, which, if you stick it in the dryer before washing it the first time, is very durable ^^ I can hand-print on any size t-shirt...usually I grab a bunch of shirts from a local thrift store, but if you provide the shirts the cost from me is a lot cheaper. Bunnies LOVE apples (which are treats for them, except the core and especially the toxic seeds are NOT good for them) and candy (which I highly doubt is good for them, though our bunny likes to steal a bite of chocolate once in a while).

However, it is actually a scientific fact that bunnies cannot barf. :p Anything that gives them sick tunmmies has to go out the other way, so it had better not be something that causes a blockage. :p :p

I did a gradient colored wig for my best friend last halloween (she was Keira from the Jak games)... it was dark blue that faded to yellowgreen at the tips. I started with a baby blue wig and used blue, light blue, turquoise, light green AND yellow sharpies. O_o;; That was a complex colorchange though... I can upload some photos of it for you when I get home if you're curious.

A more subtle gradient color is actually more difficult IMO, cos you have less in-between colors to work with. For my Ashelin costume I took a red wig and I was adding in dark roots with red, magenta, purple at the roots, and that dark berry colored sharpie, and I experimented with cracking open the sharpies and mixing them up with rubbing alocohol and spraying it on the wig WOW IT MADE A HUGE PINK MESS. It took a lot more messing around but in the end I got good results with that too (it even changed the wig to a nice cherry color instead of the neon clown red that clashes with everything). No pictures of that one, though, it's in storage >_< along with every other thing I own.. *sigh*.

I suggest you start with a white wig and dilute the pastel sharpie ink with the rubbing alcohol and spray it on *carefully* AFTER you cover your entire bathroom in newspapers.

As for the wig, when I did the shiva gradient on my wig and on the Ansem wig a couple years ago, there are these color combs that you can actually brush colour into the wig, then style it accordingly, it worked out pretty well for me

The stuffs I used is called "hot head" And they can be found in different salon places. =D I haves a blue if ya likes! Ooooor, you can always check the wig places in hollywood
