website and hair thingies
Jun. 13th, 2002 01:59 pmthe teal website is up:
http://aimeemajor.com/
omg. I love that the counter is green. big thanks to taeha, through her site I found the counters, AND that adorable frog mario from the SNES game. woooo.. :D
I'm about to take on my first not-sucky attempt at augmenting a wig!~
Basically what I want to do is add a BUNCH of hair extensions to a wig I have to make it fluffier and bigger. Does anyone have any suggestions for someone who hasn't done this before (last time I tried it looked pretty sucky)
perhaps some websites that detail this?
soon comic will be done and we can work on other booth goodies and our tshirts! :D DUNDUNDUN! :D
I got a new client today. it's called FIRE
http://www.epicware.com
if you use OS X, AIM, and ICQ (and more) you might want to try it :)
is it just me or is there more drama in cosplay than in most other online "circles"? O_o... at least I can say that everyone I have met has been totally awesome and nice though. :)

LOL! I *know*! That's exactly what I'm thinking! I just have these terrible flashbacks from High school and I'm thinking, "Does my weak heart really need this?"
>_< That's one reason why I'm so glad there are people like you and Kel, Yaya and Cat and many others who are 'mature' cosplayers...talented AND intelligent. GEE, whatta concept. LOL! ;)

You say such nice things!! I love your work though, and your site! Faerie grove is absolutely beautiful, and the wings! ARRRGGGHHhhhhhhh *death by gorgeousness*
Okay, now on to subject at hand… yup. Sometimes cosplay is 9th grade, all over again. It makes me feel (if I am not actually) 10 years older than everyone. And I go to sci-fi cons, and I am ten years younger. You can't win. But I love costuming, and all the little petty infighting is just something that can be ignored/put up with for the sake of the art. Right?
