coming around to give you these, maybe you can use them:

http://www.chunichi-theatre.com/presents/2gatsu/2gatsu.html
info on the Aida performance at Chunichi Theatre (not Nagoya Takarazuka! no such place, actually XD) Remember, Takarazuka will be on the 9th floor.

http://www.chunichi-theatre.com/koutsuu/koutsuu.html
maps to the theatre in Japanese, has different maps depending on where you're coming from (subway, bus, taxi, foot, etc) and approx. times from certain train stations>

http://souls.gaki-sefi.com/aimee/tns-map.jpg
This is a very large scan of the map I got from Hometown Dolpa for the route to Tenshi no Sato. At the bottom has directions to getting there by car and from certain train stops.

Hope these help, good luck!

Oh, I forgot to add the address, you can find it at the bottom of the Takarazuka directions site:

http://kageki.hankyu.co.jp/theater/other.html#4

Nagoya-shi, Naka-ku, Sakae 4-1-1 In the Chunichi Building

I really do hope you have a good time! I was hoping you'd get to see Cosmos Troupe, I'm a big fan of Youka Wao *~*

Taking a second look at that TnS map, its rather confusing, if all else, you can print it out and thrust it at a taxi driver. XD;

not being a moron, I just am very fan-obsessy about my Takarazuka troupes. XD

The group performing Aida is Star troupe (my second favorite, as Kozuki Wataru is very impressive on stage), and the troupe doing Elisabeth is Moon. I haven't seen that troupe live, but I do like Sena Jun (one of the side otokoyaku), I hope to see her become a lead someday. ^^

...gosh, I'm awful fangirly tonight. *~* Be sure to pick up the 1000 yen brochures, they're beautiful as photobooks, and are a great way to remember the performance later. :D

...oh, and did you get my email with the Unoa photos?

The story and the costumes are faboo of course! I love the revue costumes so much, the bigger the headdresses, the better! XD

I would love *anything* you picked up for me, especially from Elisabeth *~* I saw Aida on "broadway" while I was there, but I'm sure nothing can compare to a Takarazuka version XD Yes, anything would be awesome! :D

Ohhh man... talk about wallet damage! =D

KiddyLand
- exit JR Harajuku station and go down Omotesando (it's the huge ass street, you can't miss it), it'll be on your right hand side after a few blocks. There's also a cute accessory shop that was playing nothing but Lil Kim nearby as well. LOL I think it's before the corner of Omotesando & Meiji Dori (it's a big ass intersection... again, you can't miss it)

Laforet
(I think they carry a lot of the GL brands) close to the corner of Omotesando & Meiji Dori

Takeshita Street (it also connects to Harajuku station but is a much smaller street compared to Omotesando) is where you'll find all the cheaper clothes... everything from casual shit to GL shit to bootleg shit! GOOD TIMES! =D Don't forget to say "Westsiiiiide" to the guys trying to sell you Hip Hop gear. ;D

IKEBUKURO.

Go to Sakura Taisens land. Eat much Orihime pasta and drinks. I highly recommend the fizzy blue Reni drink. MAU. Eat crepes at CRAZY CREPE, you will be happy you did. Also, good catcher machines at Segaland to steal your money.

Also, the Toys R Us is MAGICAL. sooo many Jennys, eeee! So much cute doll crap, eeeee!

There is a Closet Child and Brand X near there right next to the K Books and Animate. (The Animate has much artness supplies, too!) those shops sell a lot of Gothloli and J-Rock things. Also in the area is a smallish Gamers. The Mandarake near the Character Queen (a boy-love shop) is all Yaoi, all the time. Kinda hard to breathe in there, too.

All this is right near Sunshine City, which boasts a really CUTE little mall. There are a couple goth loli shops and a Pink House shop. Also there's a kogaru-ish section of the mall that is really trendy. Sunshine City's mall should still have their winter sales going on.

OF COURSE, do not miss Nekobukuro! SO MUCH CAT! and they have KITTENS now! EEEEE!

bust: 91 cm
waist: 77 1/2 cm

Okay, there's an easy way to get there from the mall. (SHOPS Alpa and Alta)

At the mall, there is an underground passage, kinda like at an airport. You will go towards a little snack hut place called Cheesecake Factory (no relation). Follow the moving pathways (there are lots of mall related fliers hanging from the ceiling) until you see the HUGE escalators. Go up those. To your left will be the Tokyu Hands (the huge crafts store with Nekobukuro on top) Almost directly across the street (look a little to the left) will be a big bilding that says SEGA GiGo. You should be able to see signs for the sakura cafe and crazy crepes. Basically, look for the hugeass poster of Sakura and head that-a-way :). Sakura Cafe and the Romando Shop are on 7f. As a special note, if you head down this street, you will run into the Milky Way Cake (sooooo yum. it is on top of a restaurant called Cafe SPAZIO) and then the Ikebukuro JR station.

Now, from Sakura Taisens Land-o, it is easy to get to Animate, Gamers, K-Books and Brand X.

Go back towards Sunshine City but don't take the underground path. Go across the street towards the indoor car dealership. When you get to the dealership, just keep going. You will see a yaoi shop called Character Queen on the corner. Just turn the corner and you will see Brand X,(used loli and J-Rock things) K-Books (a great used shop, this one boasts a large selection of Sakura Taisen musical stuff on the second floor. Among other things, I found a Benitokage cast shirt and gloriously tacky Arabia no Bara shirt They also carry a lot of catcher toys and other promo stuff), another anime shop that carries some San X, and, finally Animate. If you loop the corner past Animate, you will see signs pointing to Gamers. However, as far as Gamers goes, I recommend the one in Akihabara MUCH more.

I hope this helps!

Oh, as far as Takarazuka dresses, you will have no problem with some of the dresses, as they have been altered to fit many sizes. Theres only one or two (that if I recall right, aren;t in the flier anyway) that arent and no one outside musumeyakudom can think about fitting. The staff is sooo helpful, you will have no problem. They really want to make the fans dreams come true!

P.S. Sunshine City (technically in the Sunshine 60 part) has a post office with an international ATM. VERY HANDY.

If you're at all interested in braving the depths of Otaku shopping in Tokyo, I would recommend heading to Nakano Broadway (http://www.mandarake.co.jp/english/shop/nkn.html), home of Mandarake (http://www.mandarake.co.jp/) and its countless spinoffs (as well as two cosplay stores) and Animate, a multi-story girl-friendly doujinshi-supply-carrying anime and manga superstore on the outskirts of Akihabara.

To get to Nakano Broadway, take the JR (if you have a JR pass) or the subway to Nakano (light blue line, western edge of the city). When you get off the train, go through the ticket barriers and take a right. You'll see a big, open area with a shopping arcade on the other side. If you walk down that shopping arcade for a few blocks, it'll dead end on Nakano Broadway.

Don't bother with the first floor, unless you want something to eat. If I were you, I'd go straight to the top floor and work my way down. Look out, especially, for the cell gallery (which sells design packs for various shows, among other things) the two cosplay stores, the girl-targeted doujinshi shop and the GIGANTIC manga stores. You'll also be assaulted with ten million gashapon, both in the machines and being sold in the shops.

There is, admittedly, and aweful lot of porn to wade through on your way to what you're looking for. But it's an aweful lot of fun.

As for Animate, the one I went to is in Akihabara (http://www.animate.co.jp/animate/map/east/akihabara/akihabara.html) but there are apparently locations all over Tokyo! (http://www.animate.co.jp/shop.html) I can't speak for the other shops, but at the one I went to the selection was very good; the prices were reasonable; they had a section for doujinshi and manga supplies including copic markers, pens, inks, and dozens of different sheets of tone; the staff was extremely friendly and helpful despite my horrible Japanese; and everything was very girl-friendly and relatively porn-free. ^_-

(As for the rest of Akihabara, I don't personally recommend it unless you have a super-recent and highly-detailed list of places you want to seek out. We tried our hands at it, but ended up extremely frustrated with what we found when compared to ammount of slogging we had to do. Also, we accidentally ended up in hard core porn video stores with giant monitors broadcasting hard core blood fantasies no less than three times. O_O)

Um...lesse, what else...

I didn't really get to go to Takishimaya Times Square in Shinjuku, which made me very sad. I'd try to hit that, as it looks like quite the experience.

I DID, however, get to go to the seven-story Kinokuniya book store just south of it. OMG! So awesome!! Worth checking out if you have the time, as it has a fantastic english language section on...the fifth or sixth floor, I think....which has more books on Japanese history, mythology and culture that I've ever seen in one place. ^_-

So...hope that was helpful!

Just a question: do you have all of your ryokan/hotel reservations made? If not, I could recommend a few places that we had wonderful experiences at. ^_^

Just to warn you, I think we spent like $30 each just on gachapon machines. They are like toy gambling. So addictive! O_O
