Animation is exciting?

So Palo and Francesca Dani and more lovely lovely people from Italy came by to see Rough Draft Studios yesterday, home of Futurama, The Simpsons Movie and... me. :)

IMHO, the studio (like most animation studios) is not all that exciting, but I tried hard to do my best tour-guide-job! :)

Derek, one of the assistant directors, showed them part of the animatic for the 3rd Futurama dvd and some scenes he was improving. I showed them part of a storyboard and some of my scenes,... and then Crisso showed them part of the 1st Futurama dvd as well as a work-in-progress scene from the Simpsons Movie (and then the final version.) None of these items were plot sensitive,... I'm glad my boss didn't mind if we showed them some things. :)

Man, I really need to go to Italy! My parents loved visiting Milan and Florence the best!
