Date: 2003-01-02 11:10 am (UTC)The one about sentient 1/6 scale plant girls?
A lot of the doll sites I've been to have mentioned this series, so I'm quite curious. :)
Let me know if you manage to get a copy... I'd be quite interested in hearing your thoughts.

... has a fan-created doll of "Snow White", and

This site mentions Plant Dolls/Kanyou Shojo in her diary.
She also has a link to the publisher's website, which I hadn't noticed before:
http://www.asahisonorama.co.jp/hp/index-top.html
(No pics or further info on Plants Dolls, but it's listed as still in stock. Apparently it's published under Asahi Sonorama's "Nemuki" imprint, and there are four books in all.
The listed price is 795 yen per book; maybe you could ask an errand service in Japan to look for these?
Oh! And Amaozon.co.jp has three of the books in stock.
Link to book 2
They're only 400 yen in their used books section... I *think* Amazon Japan will ship to non-Japan addresses, since that's how I got one my 1/6 scale pattern books. :)
LMK if you need links to the other books that Amazon has in stock.
