Commissions

I've said this before but since I guess some people didn't see it, or I have no idea.

(1) I'm not taking commissions again ever. (unless something drastic happens.)

(2) if you have a commission with me you can email me to remind me of it OR ask me to do a refund. If you want a refund I will refund your money immediately.

I may have everyone take refunds anyway unless I just can't afford it.

We've just sold our house for financial reasons, and after we find a new place to live, I have to move there, and then I'm going back to work at Warner Bros in January, I don't see how I can do commissions anytime soon.

and on top of that I just can't make myself work on them. any free time I have I want to work on my own projects which I NEVER do. I also am starting to get rusty on life drawing.
some people have been waiting months and that's just not acceptable, I realize that.

so here's your announcement, email me and we'll settle records.
there are a select few commissions I have started on that I would really prefer to finish instead of offering a refund.
there are also ones for personal friends that I intend to finish.

Sorry things have been so stressful for you lately... But it sounds like things are looking up! You and Mitch will have more money once you move in to this new place and you have a job coming up at WB in Jan :) All very encouraging, just hang in there :) *bighugs!*

Yeouch, Aimee I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. I say your friends' comments are mean and you take me off your friends list? Ok.

I'm just glad there's a difference between the art and the artist.

I'm tired of having 400 people on my friends list. if you think the people saying what they did were being mean based on her original actions, then that just makes my pruning easier. I know that sounds mean, but I'm not going to blow smoke here. I'm probably going to remove a lot of people completely having nothing to do with this incident. this has become an impetus however. I appologize if I offended you but I dont treat my friends list like other people do. its just too big, and that has become painfully obvious to me. I've been meaning to do it for a while however.

and yes you will get your comic, as said earlier, please remind me of your address via my email and I'll get it to you asap.

it's unfortunate that one nasty person can ruin everything for everyone else =(

as much as i'd love to see new artwork from you, i understand what you're going through and how hard it is for you, aimee. i think that you have the top priority in your own life... and i just can't see how other people can be so rude as to push you to do things. that's not fair to you, and it just goes to prove how stupid other people are.

i wouldn't worry about your commissions right now if i were you, aimee. i'd worry more about my own life and my own problems. if these people are truly nice and good, they'd be willing to wait for the tide to turn and things to get good in your life.

and if they can't do that, maybe they don't really deserve a commission from you in the first place.

Good luck with the move, and with the new job! Have you found a new place to live yet?
