Demona from Disney's Gargoyles.
I used to watch this show religiously when I was in highschool and it was probably my first "fandom". I was pretty active for like 8 years or so. ha. :) Mitch and I are rewatching some of the episodes a bit, so I did some fanart today. (I wanted to send a couple things to a convention, hence the need to do this sooner rather than later...)

Now I just need to finish up my outstanding commissions (sorry for the wait, guys! I should have realized I'd be this busy...) and finish my Vampire Hunter D costume (eek!).
I may have to take a break tomorrow though... I think I need to see the ocean.

Your Gargoyles art and participation in the fandom was how I found your stuff ten or so years ago. Glad to see a new piece. :) It looks amazing.

I'm still introducing friends to the show who missed out on it during the initial airing, and recently re-watched it myself in the process. It's still so good.

That's an awesome series and it's the only one I know of that attracts so many different groups. My mom loves it and so does my husband, who are both not big into animated series. Anyways awesome drawing! I look forward to the Vampire Hunter D costume.

I LOVE how you gave her a fuller body of hair throughout the length. I'm not so much a fan of the "female mullet" version some folks like to draw. On a side note, I too grew up with that show, and seeing your awesome costumes online from Gatherings :) Fantastic art, and thanks for the memories!

It is still good, but now... I see more plot flaws. ha... still good though. And really the themes and what they were doing were very original and interesting.

I was thinking about the mullet while I was drawing this... I don't really MIND it persay,... but this felt better. :)

Hi Aimee! I too found you back in 99 through your fanart of gargoyles and have been following your progress through the years. You have been a tremendous inspiration for me, and although I chose not to follow the path of animation/illustration (regrettably!!) I absolutely love what you do!

Gargoyles is still hands-down my favorite show ever. Avatar: The Last Airbender is a close second. I plan on rewatching both soon. So Good!!
