Mitch and I have been enjoying watching the John Adams miniseries inbetween watching Battlestar Galactica (s 2). It's beautifully done, not only the shot choice and the acting, but the costumes and such, too. What our early Americans went through puts a lot of perspective on what we do today. Mitch and my relationship is kinda similar to John and Abigail, (you know... if Abigail Adams liked unicorns and cupcakes...) Mitch has probably read the biography twice.

Mitch: You realize John Adams never said that.
Aimee: Why is Rutledge the only one wearing PINK? I'm not sure if I should be amused or offended on behalf of my fellow South Carolinians.
Mitch: They are being a little hard on him.
Aimee: What color frock coat do you want?

(Both of us thought Jefferson's outfits were rather fabulous. Though, I don't think that lavendar is Mitch's color.)

Love the new Room print dress from BABY! The pink color is very pleasing. The black dress on the right, Beardsley Rose Alice is in a larger size, too... interested to see what the Tea and Red colors will be.

I can't wait to get my black Vampire Requiem Skirt! As I'd hoped, it looks very Disney Haunted Mansion. Oh, Vampires, how I love you! It feels great for October, doesn't it? I'm a bit sad that I really just don't have time to do any costumey stuff this month. Is it really already almost Halloween, again? I thought for sure that this year I'd have a Prince Philip costume for Mitch and a Phantom costume for him, too! Obviously I just need to make these costumes months in advance. Don't have time to do Disney Halloween this year or the Magic Castle.

I SWEAR this year I'm going to actually do the Elf thing for Christmas, though!

Wish I had time to go to the LA Opera sale today... I have this feeling like somehow I missed out on getting some amazing gown for $3.
