Here's what I heard:
He likes to cosplay at Dragon*Con, so he commissions awesome costumes, but doesn't tell anyone what he will be wearing. Then, on Monday, he twittered that he was one of the tall Chewies (I think there were 2 at D*C).

hhhmmm, well, I only saw one really tall chewie? (this guy, if you consider my height by comparison) was HUGE. he was making the chewie noise, too. that'd be really cool if it was him!

I figured the odds would be against it being him. He'd probably be less likely to stand around getting his picture taken like cosplayers do, since he can just as easily do that out of costume if he wants that much attention.

That tall Chewie is really good! Must be tiring to walk in those stilts all day.

well, as a cosplayer, he's going to get lots of people taking his picture, in particular, a good one like that...

I figure it's just fun for him that no one knows who he is.
