DRAGONCON SCHEDULE

Ok, here's my somewhat more finalized schedule for Dragoncon. (including the ever idiotic, "what I will be wearing when".)

~~~~~~~~~ FRIDAY: ~~~~~~~~~
Muggle clothes until the afternoon,

Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner Fri 10AM
location: Cent I-III (HYATT) & will be broadcast live to Atrium Ballroom (M)
(might watch if I can get in. or may take a nap and watch it on DCTV at 1pm. lol.)

then get into Steampunk for the rest of the day/night.

Steampunk Maker's Panel
Description: Meet the makers of fabulous steampunk props and contraptions.
Time: Fri 04:00 pm Location: Piedmont - Hyatt (Length: 2.5 Hours)
(Judy, AJ and Cheryll and I will also be on this panel and we'll be talking about how we did various things if need be.)

Time Traveler's Ball
10 pm - Hyatt, Hanover C/D/E (Possibly attending)

~~~~~~~~~ SATURDAY: ~~~~~~~~~

PARADE - 10 am - I'll be marching with the Doctor Who folks as Series 4 Doctor Who Rose Tyler (with BFG). Lineup starts at 9 am. The parade starts at Woodruff Park, which is located at Peachtree St and Auburn Ave, about 4.5 blocks south of the Hyatt. (There is also a shuttle from Marriot Marquis driveway location to Woodruff Park.)

Japan Ai Book Signing
1pm Marriott, M301 - M304
Bring your books for me to sign (any book or magazine by me, I'm willing to sign and do a small sketch in. I'll probably have a few extra books with me as well, but I can't guarantee how many I'll have.)

4pm - Doctor Who Costuming Panel (British SF Media)
the Valdosta room at the Sheraton
(May stop by briefly before changing into Aurora... or may not.)

2D to 3D - Bringing Your Designs to Life (COSTUMING)
Description: Learn how to take your designs and make them a 3D reality.
Time: 5:30 pm Location: M103 - M105 - Marriott (Length: 1 Hour)
Will be helping on this panel as Aurora (Sleeping Beauty)

Animation Production
Description: Ever wonder how your favorite show gets from script to screen? Take a walk through the production of Futurama with Aimee Steinberger and quelch that curiosity.
Time: Sat 07:00 pm Location: Baker - Hyatt (Length: 1 Hour)
Note: I'll be bringing an iDVD presentation with some preproduction work (from storyboards to character layout and character designs) I've done on Futurama and some other things. I've finished my dvd now... it'll specifically feature scenes from Season 3, "Where the Bugaloos Roam", Season 4 "Where No Fan Has Gone Before" and the movie "Bender's Big Score" as well as some other things. I'll be explaining the tv animation process on shows that I've worked from and show you examples. Most of this has never been seen, really... so make sure you come! :)
I won't have time to change out of Aurora,... haha. so... come learn about animation from Sleeping Beauty. :P :P

Throughout the day and night, randomly, I'll be with the Good Fairies (AJ, Cheryll and Judy)

8:30 pm Aquarium (SQUEE)

late night - back at con as probably slightly-bedraggled Aurora.
(maybe 10:00 pm BSG - Colonial Fleet Party! Location: Grand Ballroom A-C)

Pirate Party - Hyatt Regency 10 pm - 18th century with Judy. Cheryll and AJ will be pirates. (I guess we are wenches)
