Kuroshitsuji's Sebastian Art

yeah, so I took a break from what I'm SUPPOSED to be working on to draw a man in a suit with some roses. I feel better now. haha... ok. back to work.

Sebastian, from Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler) manga series. If you're curious, the original drawing looks like this. Took about an hour to color. Done in COPIC marker, and then I blurred the floral coloring in PS to give more of a dreamy feel. (Sebastian's coloring was left alone.)

I've never heard of the series, but I am certainly intrigued as of late, especially by this drawing. It looks as though Sebastian was made for you! (The white flowers are so pretty, it makes a wonderful texture, and I commend you for drawing so many flowers! Many times, my flowers don't come out looking as such, but rather, many random lines, ha.)

I think you would probably like it! The art is really cool. I like the use of blacks, motion and perspective in the series. I don't really like the comic-relief characters, but once you get past them, it gets darker and more interesting. It's very older demon butler XOXO little boy ward, though, just FYI!

yeah, it kinda sucked drawing all those flowers... but that's really the look I wanted, so I sucked it up. I think they suffer a bit from my boredom with them, but overall I guess it's ok. :)

mmm, well, it's not the best series ever, and for me it takes a bit of ramping up before I enjoyed it more. I don't like the comic relief characters. However, the fun of seeing a very sophisticated british butler in victorian times... who just happens to be a really badass demon = pretty awesome. It's very older demon butler XOXO little boy ward, though, just FYI! (which is probably a plus for you. lol)
