dear friends,

I would like to look at some awesome steampunk and/or corsetry.
Please to be showing me.

(can include steampunk artwork, galleries of awesome costumes, costume shops that sell cool steampunk accessories, etc... , shops with awesome corsets,... or just random steampunk inspiration...... corset shops do not nessesarily have to be related to steampunk-ness.)

Do you know Abney Park? http://www.abneypark.com/
They're steam punk and quite a nice group :)
Hope it helps a little...

Have you ever heard of the Neverwas Haul?
Also, one of my friends is very into steampunk, you may want to speak with her, [livejournal.com profile] atomicgypsy. She makes many of her own totally awesome steampunk and steampunk inspired items. She's even made spats!

Blooddrop Corsets make me happy, as do spats. And airship pirates. These make me positively giddy, and when I can actually paint stuff again, I'm going to try to make one of my own.

The lovely Scoundrelle from DOA sells corsets she makes on Etsy, but she also has great Steampunk pics on her Flickr- all linked on her LJ. She made some awesome Steampunk wings in metal and they move!!!!!!

This site doesn't have much, if any, clothing but you might find the gadgetry inspirational.

My friend Ana is pretty steampunkish, with a little fairy and personal awesome tossed into the mix. You'd love her. She's another Dr. Who fan and she makes her own costumes for cons and things.

And also here is her livejournal.

Mah community, [livejournal.com profile] gears_and_steam, and the occasionally cranky [livejournal.com profile] steamfashion. (There's also [livejournal.com profile] steampunklolita, though it's a bit quite.)

Not visual, but:

is a steampunk novel (mine, eek, selfpimp) and has some neat links in the left-hand sidebar as well.

http://www.jessevandijk.net/g_08_76.html - This city could easily be swayed to steampunkery.

The Clockworker's Guild Journal (http://community.livejournal.com/anachrotech/)
Neo-victorian livejournal (http://community.livejournal.com/neo_victorian/)
And one can never be without Steampunk Lego Designs (http://blog.wired.com/geekdad/2008/01/the-steam-wars.html)

If I find more in my links, I'll send them to you. ;)
