Go! Comi has a limited number of signed editions of Japan Ai. Go check it out! The really fun thing about it is that they are including postcards with it and they wrap it up all pretty-like.
They also have up some of my Water Lily 07 sketchbook (also signed)

another picture from the Gothic and Lolita Bible Release. I like Lynleigh's in the background. She looked so cute. (I have this fabric, too! XD)

anyway... back to sewing my cake dress!

I'm really looking forward to looking at your book! I just ordered the special edition of Japan Ai off of gocomi.com. I wanted to let you know about the shopping experience I had on the site so you could pass word on just in case anyone else has problems.

Please let your friends & fans know that they must sign up for the site if they want to purchase the book. I tried to purchase it, and it kept showing up that my cart was empty. It didn't tell me I had to sign up, I just figured that's what I had to do from previous experiences with similar sites; and that did the trick.

Also, you have to sign up again (I didn't understand this) when you go to checkout your order - this way you also get free shipping.

Just wanted to make you aware of this. It took me about 15 minutes to figure/sort everything out and finally purchase the book.

XOXO,
Jibrille

PS: Apparently the new Norton's anti-virus doesn't like half of GoComi!'s site, and kept telling me it was transferring to a different site, etc. Half of the links also came up to non-existant or invalid pages, and I had to click back quite a few times.

I'd love the Marie Antionnette, and that sounds like a good deal. If this is ok, let me know what you're paypal email is, and I'll post the money right away!

Thanks

I want a signed copy of your Japan Ai book <3

Are the ones on Go! Comi handsigned by you or is it a print of your signature?

I've never purchased anything through the Go! Comi website either, so I created a Go! Comi website account AND store account... but I STILL can't get my order to go through! >.< I'm trying to get a copy of Aimee's Water Lily, but every time I try to hit the "confirm order" button to place the order, it always loops back to the payment information screen! I've tried ordering several times on two different browsers to no avail.

I e-mailed Go! Comi to let them know about the problem. I think they really need to do some major fixing to their store site, esp. since the problem doesn't seem to be an isolated incident. I'm glad I don't have Norton installed on my computer (I use McAfee), because if I experienced any of those other glitches you had I think my head would have exploded. ~_^

I just hope I get a reply soon so I can hopefully place my order... *crosses fingers*

Aimee's publisher here to explain the store thing! Normally you CAN purchase books without having an account, but you happened to catch us right when we are implementing a new SSO service *and* switching to a new dedicated server. Er, to keep this simple ... there might be some errors here and there while we get all the kinks worked out. You can *always* email us if you have any problems and we'll be happy to hunt down the problem and shoot it for you. The email is webmastergomedia-ent.com. (Yeah, our parent company name isn't as cute as the imprint gocomi.com.)

I'll pass on what you've mentioned here to the website programmer, just in case it's an error that hasn't been fixed yet.

Oh, let us know if you like the wrapping for the Japan Ai special edition. We hired pink elves to do it! ^_^

The programmer said that issue with the store was fixed several days ago (probably around the time you posted this). Let me know if you are still experiencing the problem! We know that several orders for "Water Lily" have gone through; if you want to check and see if yours did, you can PM me on the Go! website with the name you placed the order under and I can check our records for it. My ID on the site is:

AudryT

I am not the normal person who handles this stuff, but our store staff has gone home for the weekend, so I don't mind taking care of it myself. :-)

Thanks! It's good to know that you guys are looking into it :)

I received my book yesterday, and it's GORGEOUS! I hesitated before unwrapping it because the wrapping was so pretty! I kept the paper flower/ribbon in-tact as a bookmark. It works nicely!

I'm about halfway through the book now, and am very happy with the way the print reads. I haven't been able to read books since my last eye surgery, but I have no trouble reading this book!

I've always enjoyed reading Aimee's journal posts about her trips to Japan. It's nice to have a picture diary of one of her trips! I feel like I'm actually there with her while reading it.

You're very welcome! And on the page opposite to the final page of the article there was a full-page ad for the Gothic & Lolita Bible too.

It's the free spring issue of Tokyo Pop's quarterly Manga magazine. It's very small at only 50 pages long. I think I remember just registering on their site, and they started to send it to me every so often.
