"Best U.S. Edition of International Material—Japan" for After School Nightmare, by Setona Mizushiro!

translates and publishes manga, including Cantarella and my personal favorite, Her Majesty's Dog (you know the one that A.J., Judy and I cosplayed last year). Just recently they announced that they will be releasing their first original project with Wendy Pini, creator of ElfQuest, Masque of the Red Death.

ok... so why am I saying all this other than I like their manga and they are swell people?

Because they picked up my Japan sketchbook to publish!
Go! Comi is going to release my book later this year. Which means, most likely, you'll be seeing it for sale not just on my website and on Amazon, but also in big retail bookstores in your hometown.

I'm super excited about this. Go! Comi really understands how I want the book to look, and I'm very proud to have my book published by them. It will be manga-sized and will most likely be around 200 pages, probably in color! This is where I've been every weekend for a while, hammering out the pages with the Go! Comi folks. I just gave them the last 4 black and white originals yesterday! There's still a lot of work to be done, but at least it's work on something I love! I really hope ya'll love it.
