Katsucon and Japan

so, I'm officially going to Katsucon! BOOYA!
I've never been to Katsucon before. (It better snow!! edit: but not snow us in?) Actually other than NYAF and Dragoncon, I haven't been to a non-CA con in forever! So I'm looking forward to it!

Also, I don't know how we did it but we had enough frequent flier miles for our Japan trip in late March!

I'm going to Jin Patisserie this weekend. I can't wait. Happy foo foo time.

I'm determined to be mostly well by Wed, at which point I will resume going to the gymn and kicking my own ass.

Actually, ease back into the gym. I don't mean you should take 2 weeks to "ease," but take 3-5 days before you push yourself, at least on resistance exercises. Cardio, hey, go crazy.

:P At least that's my plan for me. Although I'm wracked with guilt for my inability to workout hardly the last 2.2 months, still I know that rushing back suddenly leads to the "bad kind of soreness," or worse.

Off topic, well kinda since you mentioned going to Japan...

I finally got a chance to read your book (it was sitting on my "to read" stack during the holidays) - and I loved it! Your drawing skill is obvious, between the cute cartoons and the lovely sketches of temples and such. It had a cute and fun narrative too, that connected all the sketches. (I felt so bad for you, getting on that non-stop train, how awful!) Anyway, I really enjoyed visiting Japan through your eyes. Wonderful job on the book - I hope you get to do other projects like this!

I hope for snow too, but oh man, Katsnowcon was crazy, I was really sick that weekend (bronchitis, strep, flu, etc), and only had access to meds that the gift shop had. What a trip! Wouldn't want to repeat that again

..Hi! I just bought your book the other day and i'v read it about 20 times already. I'v also checked out the omake/photos on gocomi.com. I just wanted to say Good for You!

I have a question(s) though..

Dolfie-wise, is it only custom-choice if you go in person? I'v been around the website for about 2 years now and every time I look at it or try to figure out how to order a dollfie i become more and more confused as time goes on. I don't even know what kind of dent it would be making in my wallet (lol)!

I have many more questions and more of I would just like to talk to you about your life and how you got to where you are and such but I don't want to take all your time. with Super Dollfie, there are lots of ways to get one, but if you want to choose all the parts yourself, the only way with VOLKS is if you go to Japan, or if you go to the new store in LA, California. :) volksusa.com will show you the address and stuff. They want you to do it in person because they feel it is a special thing and they want to make sure to get your order right.
