Manga Mania Cafe has put up the first full review of Japan AI! :D and Manga Cast lists it as their Unanimous All-Girl Pick of the Week.

I've had a very lazy past few days. (man I needed that!) I had turkey, stuffing, dressing... and curry and sweet potatoes and mochi shaped like fish (it has a soft nut inside and bean paste! mmm!). The Curry House has a very amusing "Christmas" Ultraman/Godzilla display. This photo, while awesome, doesn't do it justice, but SantaUltraMan... haha.. :D

Also, it's officially "cold" for socal now, which means 59-65 degrees. haha. So I wore my crazy stripey socks from my mom. Furry tacky socks mean love, you know.

Lastly is a better photo of my completed painted shoes for Nordstrom. I added some silver pin-on bows to the shoes. I think the bows are really cute!

Hi, you don't know me from Adam... I got my copy of Japan Ai the other day and fell in love with it! The simple style and the free captions made for a light, airy feel, and really left me craving more. ^_^

I went by Earth 2 comics in the Valley and commented to the guy that "ooo thanks for putting her book out front" and he goes- man i love aimee! she's fabulous! and told about how he had you draw for him at an event and how he was proud of you for publishing a book!

so yeah. can't remember his name because usually he's just "hey what's up" guy. but i thought it awesome that he had your book in a place of prominence.

oh, that's cool! It was probably Jud, the owner? He (and the other guys at that store) are awesome. They always pick up independant stuff, and I used to go there all the time when I was working at Warner Brothers. :) (he's carried each book I've done). They really rule.
