I do believe this is one of the top 5 restuarants I have ever been to. Hokusai in Beverly Hills.
Mitch's parents treated us tonight. The tuna sushi was so fresh and so amazing... it was like eating a tuna cloud. I had this salmon dish... I can't even describe it. and the shrimp tempura, it was like insulting to even call it shrimp tempura, it was so much better than any other shrimp tempura I've ever had. (the prices weren't outrageous, either! pricey, but definitely not outrageous.)

I feel this huge weight lifted off my shoulders today. There was a great breeze today, and I feel mostly caught up with everything... I just closed my eyes and walked down the street enjoying the weather. It was like the breeze was saying "it's all fine! Let me give you an air hug!" I got a shigure mochi, too,... which is my favorite. It's like an air hug, too. :)

Nice weather has an amazing way of lifting spirits, doesn't it? I will never forget how absolutely marvelous the spring-like days were after Hurricane Katrina. That was when I finally began to feel like everything was going to be all right after two years of pure hell. And I was right! Ever since then, things have been wonderful.
