kitsuke and tea ceremony

I learned a lot today! I'm super busy, but despite that I still went to kitsuke and tea ceremony class. I guess I just needed a little relaxing time before pressing on with my book and other comiccon preparations.
Today I reviewed being a guest... but I also got to learn more about serving. Actually, I made tea today, myself! (and probably badly! haha.. but I tried.)
I also learned how to do Fukura suzume (sparrow style) with my obi-aid! (yeay! now I can wear it to Comic-Con!


Also Akutagawa sensei fed me curry and gave me flowers.


now I really need to go work on comic-con stuff (waH)

Aimee, I love to hear about all the things you are learning right now! I remember your water colors, and they are lovely. I am excited to hear about what you learn and acquire for your kimonos too! And the tea ceremonies sound fun! I am going to look in my area and see if there is anywhere I can learn these things, I feel inspired.
