Oscar has taken perhaps one of my all-time favorite photos:

... I keep repeating myself, but things are going well. CRAZY but WELL. Lots of positive stuff going on about my book, I'm doing really well at work, too. It's just ... wow... SO MUCH going on that my head is constantly spinning. I'm really looking forward to a break!

I wanted to ask you, since you're a Tall Girl... how do you find kimono long enough? I browse around on ichiroya and they're all 149cms long to 165cms at best. 165 would be good for me, actually, since it's only 2" short, but still, those are rare.

you just have to look harder and longer, basically.
They show up but they are very rare.
if 165 is fine on you then you are lucky, as those are not that hard to find. it's ones over that length (which I need) that are really difficult.

Also, sometimes I find bolts that are long enough for me and I have kimono custom-made.

Ooh, the dream of custom made kimono... I really really want to sew my own yukata, but sewing is so intimidating...

Please continue posting photos of yours in kitsuke, you always look lovely! Especially when you go a bit wild and use cute modern accessories. :)
