too pretty to be behind a cut.
10 imaginary pnts to whoever guesses the teacup first (especially if you know exactly why it was produced)

to the crafting ladies out there,... did you notice that the March 07 issue of MS Living has a GORGEOUS tutorial on ribbon embroidery?

I have no idea, but it kind of looks Rose of Versailles-ish!

Ah I love that Mitsuwa! I wish it was closer to home ;_; The Costa Mesa one is just like it with the food court with little shops lining the sides.

I won't say what the set is considering how many times I've seen it in person XD

BTW did you want anything when I go in April? Just send me a note if you do :)

The okashi look so delicious! I love this time of year when all the hina matsuri okashi are available. I have to go to Benkyodo bakery this week and stock up!

My husband gets MS Living at work and I asked him to snag that one for me. I've been dying to try ribbon embroidery and I'm sure that Martha will explain it much more clearly than some of the books I've looked at.

Oh I love wagashi! Certainly one of the top things about Japanese cuisine! I've purchased a recipe book of wagashi and plan to make some when I've finished my diet.
