SHOWER SHOES

If I learned anything from my time in the Army- always wear flipflops (shower shoes) in the public shower. Use the shower shoes ONLY for the shower, never wearing outside. You'll be so much happier. Dollar store flips are your friend.

Oh, and don't touch anything you don't HAVE to. Hehehehe.

My uni's gym showers were actually really clean. I loved showering there because they never ran out of hot water, and the water pressure is yum.
I miss swimming now. :(

I never encountered hairballs, but then I usually have my glasses off from locker to shower and back, so that could be why. My own personal worst-ever locker room story involves walking into the clothes-optional sauna and finding a sniffy, moaning lady doing something with her hands inside that eventually frightened me into leaving before I got sufficiently dry.
