why I still go to anime cons

(^----
I attempted taking a photo of some Ouran High School Host Club cosplayers running in the rain)

I went to karaoke with Svet (Drama Con) and Audry from Go! Comi (manga publisher) and some ladies they knew at Amagi on Sunset. wow, it was a TON of fun. Some of the people at the bar were awesome-crazy. One not-skinny-guy with leather pants singing Aerosmith and Prince (with lots of air guitar and girations).
I sang "Let's Get It On" (Marvin Gaye) and the leather pants guy high-fived me. I consider that a compliment considering his over-the-top performance. O_O. Sang Toxic Love with Svet... Very silly and fun evening.
it was rainy and cold at Anime LA, but to me, going to cons now is mostly about wearing outfits (this time furisode) and hanging out. I'll post some later of my kimono. (Oscar, Cheryll and Lionel too pictures. Oscar was my Watanuki! He's so cute! )
.... as a side note, con-staff at Anime LA was SO BAD and SO harrassing, that I seriously doubt I will ever return to the convention. Basically, even though I did buy a two day badge (and had it on my person), and did absolutely nothing rowdy or wrong,... I and almost everyone else were seriously rudely harrassed by constaff. If you want to read more, Lionel has a post.
this one accidentally turned out cool to me...

FOR CHAR: (this guy was worth the price of admission. miss you char)
