Oh, Aimee, that's too funny! One of our cats was doing the same thing the other night when we were playing with that page. He was especially freaked out by the meowing -- kept trying to look behind the computer for another cat!. ^_^

This is what lj surfing gets me, a new Lj to read up on.

I was given a tanuki statue on my HS graduation who taught japanese History and English in Japan. I was going into the Culinary Arts field so it seemed appropiate, though my parents thought the appendages were questionable. *cough*

Anyway, Hi! My Namy is Tammy I cook, love miyaski films, sew, and love me some tanuki as well. I sadly don't draw very well, though I do have an ongoing doodle habit of drawing aggivating/funny/ silly things that happen to me@ work in cat form for my boyfriend.

I've seen the miyazaki film. I watched it before I knew what tanuki was, so it was my introduction. so cute (but a little depressing, it made me not want to be a human ::laughs::)

^_^ I love tanuki so much. I wish we could have one for a pet, they're so cute and fluffy and apparently very friendly towards people, even straight out of the wild. ;_; It's terrible how cruel furriers are in skinning them.
