other cons...? (and drawings)
Apr. 26th, 2006 09:24 pmSo... I'm thinking about alturnatives if I'm not able to get a table at Comic-Con. Anime-Expo's artists' alley is already full.
are there any decent sized anime or comic-cons that are _after_ Anime Expo and/or Comic-Con? (preferably in the CA area...)
SOME DRAWINGS:
--click for a commission drawing I did for Conna
--sketch of a schoolgirl for nothing in particular
--I got a really good phone call the other day that made me THIS happy. no, it wasn't a naughty phone call!
Please see Previous Post for information about the new book!

Otakon is in August. It's also across the country and from what I hear tell, their AA has gone straight to hell this year. :/
Anime Iowa (http://animeiowa.com/) is the same weekend as Otakon, but it is only half as far. I've been there a couple times; it's a solid, well-attended con. I might get a table there if my ACen table goes well.
The Reactor (http://www.thereactor.org/) (formerly known as Anime Reactor) is in late October in Chicago(ish). They've actually been around longer than two years; they just changed their name.
Hope that was at least mildly helpful ;)
