sweets and clouds
Apr. 24th, 2006 08:06 pmThe absolute candy color of the sunset this evening as I drove down a hill on the way home from work, combined with the candy-coated Meta dress (made for "tall lolita-chan" waiting for me when I got home, has momentarily stopped my urge to drive to Verizon's home office and murder everyone in the building. (weapon of choice, millions of tennis balls).

Date: 2006-04-25 04:15 am (UTC)That dress is SO CUTE. Candy-summery lolita! I flail about enviously! I tried shopping for lolita dresses once but I'm too fat for any of the Japanese designers. *blrf*

Date: 2006-04-25 03:07 pm (UTC)Basically, on the sweets collection, they marked a couple of the items "this is a longer dress/skirt! Perfect for tall lolita-chan." So I figured it was a safe bet. Still hit me at just above the knee, but at least it doesnt look silly, if that makes sense. Sometimes stuff is just too high on me.

Date: 2006-04-25 03:09 pm (UTC)I have the same problem and I'm not nearly as tall as you. ;_; It's a toss-up on the brands; I've recently had some issues with BtSSB A&TP line being too high-waisted/short on me.
