it's nice when stuff starts working (japan sketchbook)

sooo... the first 10 or so pages of drawings I did for my japan sketchbook I really didn't like. I mean I really hated them... I think it was the storyboard work I did at Disney that really made my art suffer... (it was really tight revision work and really TINY.) So I guess it took me a while to pull out of it and loosen back up.

cause yesterday I did about 20 pages of drawings after work and I think they are cute and loose and fun! A couple more days work and I think I'll actually be done with the sketch part of the book! (I have a lot of post work to do after that though, but yeah, the sketches are probably the hardest part *knock on wood*)

It's been a long time since I've even attempted to have a booth at a con. I hope it's going to be fun! that is assuming that I even have a booth. I might have been too late to get one. If so, oh well, I'll still do my book and I guess I'll just promote it at whatever con I go to next. I'm feeling very zen about the whole thing I guess.
