what's your favorite not-so-famous old-school Disneyland ride? Almost everyone loves Pirates of the Caribean and the Haunted Mansion. one of my favorites is Peter Pan. I still to this day love that ride, especially the part where you fly over Neverland Island and it has all the little lights.

as to the whole Disney/Pixar thing, i hadn't said what I thought about it... mainly becuase I'd been trying not to get my hopes up. most of you know that what I've always wanted to be was a Disney feature animator (2d). After having more details and things come up, I now feel safe to say that I think it's a good thing... that I hope that maybe I can still be a feature 2d animator, and that maybe things at Disney are turning around.

soooo this weekend I slept alot, and then Mitch took me to the LA Opera's "Le nozze di Figaro". and it was really really really awesome. Not only was the music and singing just totally gorgeous, but the acting was great too! I really felt like each of the characters was really well developed and I cared about all of them, and enjoyed every single part of it. Mitch and I (Mitch's idea) had been trying a few well-known operas to see if we'd like it. This is the first one that we really really really adored. I really couldn't get over how much I liked it. (now if they only had more supertitles!!) Also, before dinner we had a wonderful dinner at this nice Italian restaurant. Fun to get fancied up every once in a while. :) It was AWESOME AWESOME. I pretty much slept and sewed for the rest of the weekend. I needed that!
-------
I'm reading "The Stars My Destination" which is a kinda-sorta rewrite of the Count of Monte Cristo (one of my very favorite stories). interesting that the author also came up with the Green Lantern Oath...?

what would be cuter for everyday wear with jeans? Keeping in mind that I wear a lot of pink, grey and red.
