Also, my new monitor that my sweet sweet husband got me:

(actually I do love my husband for 1,000 reasons other than this monitor. *L* one of them including that he somewhat regularly actually goes into the Sanrio store and shops with me. Now THAT is love. A grown man in the Sanrio (Hello Kitty) Store.)

I haven't sewn in a long time and I"ve been so busy that I"ve seen not many of my friends at all! Poop!

I really loved Pride and Prejudice though. it's AWESOME. I want to go see it again. (and I dont even like Kiera Knightly that much at all... and I LOVE Colin Firth.)

The little dolls are a chibi version of Petworks Momoko, called "mamemomoko". THese particular ones are the two stars from the movie Kamikaze Girls.

Mr. Kallisti is the sanrio shopping friendly man, too. When I had surgery last year he came home with a whole bucket load of Sanrio stuff... sweeeet! Also makes me happy to watch him get excited by godzilla miniatures.

I can't complain, though . . . when we were dating, Kyle bought (!) a Hello Kitty plush, sewed curly doll-hair on it, and *embroidered* a little pentacle on the tail-nub (to match my tattoo, which was then a bit less extensive) and sewed fishnets on to the stubby little legs. He even gave her leopard-print panties!! (Hahahah, tmi *grin*)

This is even funnier if you know that my husband is a Professional Curmudgeon and would never DREAM of admitting to being cute and fluffy and romantic.

I treasure my "Hello Andi" to this day!!!
