Opening June 9th at the El Capitan (with special guests on the 9th, but no Miyazaki himself this year.) I'v eheard that there will be an art exhibit on all the El Capitan dates, but I don't know for sure yet. Myself, I'm going to see it this Saturday, and I'll let you know! The engagement at the El Capitan is only running until the 19th!

HOWEVER!!!!! Howl's Moving Castle is opening WIDE(er) June 17th, and you should start seeing it in theaters in your neck of the woods... however in typical sneaky Disney fashion, it probably won't be showing in a ton of theaters.

DO NOT MISS THIS MOVIE. Look for it. It's one of my alltime favorite Miyazaki films, and that is saying a LOT.

I can't wait to see it! Have you read the book yet? Little birdies who've read the book and seen the movie already have told me Miyazaki kinda did his own thing/used the book for a general overview but then changed things/created a bunch of other stuff - but that if you watch it without the book in mind, it definitely stands on it's own as a great movie. (I loved the book.)

*fears disownership* Maybe it will make more sense when I see it in English. But I love the book and was horrified at what they did to it. It confused me the entire time because it was changed so much. I'm also hoping Miyazaki didn't have much to do with the story since he took it over from someone else.

SCWHEEET I so want to see it in theater! Bootleg was nice but I got confused at certain moments because I couldn't get certain details of the story. I watched the clips, Christian Bale made a very smoky sounding Howl... kinda sessy~ *.*

I saw it on february and it is MARVELOUS !!!! this is my favourite Miyasaki movie with Mononoke Hime !!
This one is beyond words...
I was surprised that it released only in June in USA... I thought you had it like us in january... At least you can watch it now !! ^^
