missing email, Chanel and Gothic & Lolita/kimono

I still seem to be getting some "bounces" on my email, so if you emailed me and didn't get a response within the past 2 days, please resend!

Now, on to fun stuff! Marie is going well, but slow... yesterday as a break, I had lunch with Mitch and Mitch got me some books! one was the most recent Gothic & Lolita Bible (#16). I'd tried to resist it for a w hile, but now I'm glad that I didn't!! This one actually has some decent patterns in it unlike some previous ones! Also there is a CG picture of a very Super Dollfie-like girl, and some really fun "prince/princess" photoshoots! And of course I always like looking at Ma/Mam, Angelic Pretty and Baby, the Stars Shine Bright, etc... If had more time, I'd modify some hoodies into looking like Ma/Mam lacy kitty/devil hoodies. Maybe once I get done with this retarded costume stuff I'm working on, I'll get a little more into making clothes for myself. Because none of their stuff fits me, and I would SO wear a black and white (or pink) lacey cat-earred hooded sweatshirt EVERYDAY. =^____^=...

I also got a fashion book showing the Fall 2005 Chanel stuff. I really really like the feather hats and lacy coats...!

All this fashoin talk reminds me of these two girls I saw in Harajuku... Does anyone know where I can find more pictures of this type of fashion?

Oooh, the Japanese-inspired clothing is wa-mono and the most popular designer for that style is Takuya Angel; it also happens to be the brand that both girls are wearing in your pictures! Gouk, a spin-off of H.Naoto, also leans heavily on Japanese prints and cuts but it is also only available in Japan.

Chanel is classic. Which fashion book did you get?

Wow, thankyou so much!! I really love that Takuya Angel stuff... a quick google search turned up tons of it! I love the strong color lines and curves that that shop uses.

I want some TA clothing but at $500 for a pair of hakama shorts and leg warmers, and the coat I like at just over $1000 it kinda kills me... though I refuse to leave Japan with out it.

....And that is exactly why I'm not going there for over a year, I'd take one of those gaudy outfits over a new dollieh for me any day.

Also, I've been thinking of adapting my sd kimono pattern to do some gothy/lolita/punky kimono styles for the girls. I love that stuff...next project perhaps!
