friends list pruning

I have 449 people on my friendslist. I've finally decided this is just kind of stupid.
EDIT: downt o 320 now ^_^.. (ACK!)

So... if we converse everyonce in a while (even just little comments and such in my journal, that's cool...) Then I'll leave you. I just want to have at least said hi once or twice. Or if we are friends, then obviously you're staying.
if you never comment on my journal, and I don't know you, I don't really see why you should know whether or not I went to the grocery store that day. :)

SO! If you aren't someone that I at least "kinda sorta know" please post something here about who you are, etc.
if you are not on my friends list and would like to be, please feel free to know in in the getting to know-ness!

if you're someone who comments occasionally, then please, don't worry about it, I'm not removing you. :)

Please don't be offended if I don't add you, just too many people! (besides I just post about cookies and fabric anyway)

For some reason 71 ppl have friended me o.O

I don't even know who they all are!!

I've only got 40 on my friends list, because even when I view custom friends it's still a LOT to look at . So I have to have a policy whereby I NEED to know people to some degree. And if I occasionally take people off it does NOT mean I necessarily dislike them at all, it could be that it's all just too much to handle... *brain explodes :p*

(Hope you got the comment about getting a lawyer and contacting that scummy art thief's IP - someone responded to me with some helpful links, including the person's internet provider, but I know they meant that response for you.)

^_^ the answer is,... I dont keep up with them AT ALL.

I only read my custom friends group, of people I really really know well. That's all I have time for. there's maybe 20 or so people on that list.

but yeah. it's just obscene # of people. basically my friends list is the "I dont mind if you read my journal" list. not a friends list. if that makes sense O_o...

welp, what I'm doing is contacting the service providers, etc... I figure I'll try that before actually getting legal.

Hmm, a bit about me. Well, I came across your journal a while back and decided to add you as a friend since I like your art (been a fan of it for years). I noticed the little mood theme you have and thought it was cute (I have yet to find one like it). We've got a few of the same interests as listed on the user info.
