I really like this simple little song by J. Knapp (I think that's how you spell it). its really not as pretty just reading the words. but oh well. I was listening to it at work and drew this picture.

Moulin Rouge

oh my gosh, I haven't cried like that in a while.

O_o
Ewan or whatever his name is was absolutely astounding. he really got me. Mitch cried too. :) hehe. it was great, his mouth moved in these ways, I would just stare at it and he'd make me cry that way. I dont want to give away any of the plot, but I just thought his acting was awesome.

I liked the movie itself btw, the frenetic camera movement... the sped up shots,.. characters zipping and flying around, going into the clouds and appearing places,
it was like haluscenagenic (sp?) like a dream... some really AWESOME super saturated colorful dream.

I thought Romeo and Juliet was more palateable, so if you didnt like Romeo and Juliet, you'll probably HATE Rouge. It takes a bit of getting used to becuase its so... well kinda surreal I guess. O_O

I was expecting to hate Kidman in it... but I actually really liked her. I loved how her lips looked stained. kinda like blood, or like red pigment on your tv, when the vcr tape is bad and it kinda bleeds out from the spot its supposed to be. the lighting in this movie is GORGEOUS.

eh.

I'm happy.
